"WALA NG NATIRA SA KANILA" Officially saying goodbye to the loveteams from Generation X to Gen Z
We've witnessed a shift in preferences within the entertainment industry, particularly concerning the concept of loveteams. From Jolina-Marvin, Angelu-Bobbie, to Claudine-Rico, marking the beginning during the Generation X era, KIMERALD, JohnLoyd-Bea followed by the craze of ALDUB, JADINE, and LizQuen during the Millennial era. With the end of KATHNIEL today, it feels like a chapter in the loveteam history of the Philippines has come to an end. The story has concluded, the page has been turned, it's done. My KathNiel heart is crying! But compared to other loveteams that ended, I am impressed with how KATHNIEL broke up. At least with closure! With a period! An exclamation point! The END! Peaceful.
---- Not like ALDUB, seemingly foolish and selfish. Hay na ker. (Clearly, my ALDUB fan is still hurting 5 years later) LOL
As a PR professional, I believe in the power and popularity of loveteams in the Philippines. They symbolize love, relationships, good vibes, and daydreams, not to mention qualitative popularity and quantitative financial gains.
But like everything else, there's an endpoint. Except for DongYan, of course, which continues to grow stronger and more beloved. It's disheartening to think that it might officially be the end of an era for strong, wildly popular loveteams in the Philippines.
So, what's next? Who will capture our hearts now? LOL. I'm no longer updated! As for me, I might be too old to keep up with the latest loveteams and know who they are even. However, from time to time, it's still nice to discover beautiful Filipino love stories from beloved Pinoy loveteams in the new generation.
Nevertheless, as they say, "the only permanent thing in this world is change." So, let's see who will become the new favorites in the realm of love and happiness.
